Access your Income Tax Records from your IRS online account
Go to www.irs.gov
Click "Sign In To Your Account"
Under the heading INDIVIDUAL, Click "Sign In To Account"
If you have an established account, Click "Sign In With ID.ME"
Enter your username
Enter your password
Complete the Multi-Factor Authentication (most common is text code sent to your cell phone)
If you do NOT have an established account, Click : "ID.ME Create An Account"
Enter a chosen Username and Password
Check the box to accept the Terms and Conditions
Click "Create Account"
Read through the ways that IRS protects your identity and Click "Continue"
A verification email will be sent to you. Retrieve this email and click "Confirm Your Email"
There a several options to select for your Multi-Factor Authentication. Most common is a text code sent to your cell phone, however you may chose whichever option best suits you.
Once your authentication methods are set up, you will need to verify your identity before your account is fully active. You have the option of Self Service or Video Call. Select and follow the steps to proceed.
